The Service Center, Ltd ("The Company") is sensitive to privacy issues on the Internet. We believe it is important that you understand how we treat the information you may provide to us. This privacy statement applies to information collected by the websites The Service Center, Ltd manages and controls, including other domains owned and operated by The Service Center.
The following privacy statement tells you, among other things, what information the Company gathers from you on the Site, how it may be used or disclosed by the Company, and the efforts the Company makes to protect it. Please read this statement carefully. If you have any questions, please contact the Company at IT@calltsc.com.
In connection with your use of the Site, the Company may collect your personal information, provided that you are over age 18, in order to provide you additional information or to facilitate a transaction initiated by you.
To help serve you better, we sometimes collect some information that does not identify you directly, but rather identifies your computer or your browser. This is done by the use of files called ‘cookies’ and by the tracking of ‘IP addresses’. A cookie is a small amount of data, which sometimes includes a unique identifier, which is sent to your browser from a web sites computer, and is stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies operate in the background (that is, you will not see them referenced at any point), and you can turn off the ability for us to send them to your computer, but doing so may hinder the website from using all of it’s features.
We collect and use your IP address (the unique identifier of your computer on the internet) to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer the Site, to analyze trends, and to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to any personally identifiable information.
Your personal registration information, such as your name, address, email address and any additional identifiers generally will not be disclosed to any third party, except to the extent necessary to facilitate a transaction initiated by you (for example, we will forward the necessary information to a third party for credit card validation).
The Company may use your personal information to contact you. For example, we may respond to your comments; we may contact you in the course of fulfilling your requested transaction; or, we may survey you to inquire on our level of service. We may combine non-personal information collected automatically (through cookies, etc) with your previously submitted personal information. We may also enhance or merge personal information with data obtained for third parties for the same purposes. We use this personal and statistical information about you to improve our marketing and promotional efforts; to statistically analyze site usage; to improve our content and product offerings; and to customize our sites’ content, layout and service offerings.
The Company safeguards the security of the data you send us with physical, electronic, administrative and managerial procedures. Likewise, we urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. These precautions include not storing passwords, changing your password often, using a combination of letters, numbers and symbols, and using a secure browser over a secured network.
The Company has designed its system to not store credit card numbers on our servers. Credit card numbers are submitted to a credit card authorization service. This service provides SANS with credit card validation information only. We do not have access to your personal financial data.
As a convenience to you, the Site may provide links to various sites created and operated by the Company, or third party websites. The Company exercises no authority over the third party websites, and the Company assumes no responsibility or liability for the independent policies or procedures of these destination sites. Please be aware of this when you leave the Site, and read the privacy policies of all websites that collect personally identifiable information from you.
The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Children under the age 18 may not purchase any item from the Site, nor provide any information to the Company.
