Business Development Representative
The Service Center LTD is a fulfillment company with its office in Houston TX. Our fulfillment services include E-Commerce B2B and B2C, Incentive programs, Warehouse and Distribution along with various Kitting processes.
We are seeking a highly-motivated, results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for following up on existing opportunities and developing new clients through effective business development strategies. This person will work closely with the Director of Customer Service and Sales and others to maintain current knowledge of all resources of the firm. This is a full-time position for an entry-level candidate with great potential for career growth and advancement.
Requirements:
- Meeting assigned sales goals for bringing in new business
- Conducting personal lead generation activities as required to fill the pipeline with new name opportunities and attain sales quotas, including cold calling, use of LinkedIn and Sales Navigator and networking in the community
- Developing and maintaining required expertise in assigned services to independently qualify prospects for appropriateness of fit
- Generating and qualifying sales leads and then meeting with prospects
- Managing the sales process including developing, qualifying and managing the prospect through the sales cycle
- Bringing partners and others with technical expertise and specialized knowledge into the sales process at the appropriate points
- Providing specific information for proposals to be generated, including complete prospect information, engagement and service details and any special terms and conditions
- Maintaining pipeline and forecast information as well as prospect contact information and status in Salesforce
- Responding to requests for information from prospects with appropriate documentation
- Transitioning closed engagements to the assigned partners
- Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing initiatives that support business development strategies
This hybrid-work position is best filled by someone with a degree in marketing, communications or business and a strong disposition to project management. The successful candidate will most likely demonstrate high-energy, a
"can-do" attitude, well-organized and detail-oriented traits and enjoys working independently and with a team.
